Everywhere around the world there are days, weeks, and celebrations set aside just to help us with our concern for the world around us. If you know of any special events, please inform us, so that we may share them with our visitors! Many of celebrations or notable earth's people and environmental days are UN holidays:

New Years Day - January 1--worldwide (Chinese New Year differnt every year)

Arbor Day - Celebrations held annually throughout the year (date determined by the best tree planting times in each country/state).

February

World Wetlands Day - held annually on February 2.

Spay Day USA - promotes spaying or neutering of our pets and feral cats. Held annually near the end of February (U.S. event).
