EARTHDAY 2008:

Planetpals is PROUD to be part of many Earthday Celebrations worldwide this year! From USA to Japan...in big city events as well as classroom celebrations. Planetpals characters and content help enlighten children and adults about EARTH as well as put a smile on their faces!

Thanks for making us such a big part of your world.Planetpals has been part of many Earth Day celebrations in the last several years! One such celebration is "Earthday Birthday" in Nevada where life size Planetpals walk attendees through exhibits in addition to activities, and a booth with Planetpals website online.

Of course, each town or organization has incorporated Planetpals differently: some pass out activities, some have added games (The epa in AZ played a giant Planetpals card game and gave prizes last year). In the past groups have given out Planetpals T shirts or Music CDs, magnets and so on as prizes, also.

Welcome to Planetpals Earthday Haiku Contest 2008Planetpals.com introduces an earth friendly and fun haiku contest to help kids learn to keep the planet clean and healthy!

The contest aims to promote the introduction of haiku into the curricula of elementary and junior high school, spread the enjoyment and a more comprehensive understanding of poetic forms and environmental awareness, so important today. Open to individual students. We encourage this as a lesson plan or activity from schools, camps, organizations and homeschools.Good luck!

8. Don't purchase styrofoam.
