Tools needed for the Flag (Top Left)

• 12 or 13 popsicle sticks
• Red, White and Blue paint (for usa flag)
• Glue
• Your imagination
• String for a hanger (optional)

Directions:

• Paint the designs on sticks separately for USA Striped flag it is easier.
• Paint steps for this Flag:
  • Paint 3 solid red 2 solid white,
• Paint 3 white and 2 red partial.
• Paint the blue square
• Paint the white stars
• Organize them in order
• Then let dry completely
• Even them out with sticks (see left)
• Turn them over in order
• Glue them together face down
• Glue on a flag pole and criss cross (1 or 2 sticks.) (see diagram left)
• Tie or glue a string to each side as a hanger
