Sustainability Related Observances and Green Holidays Everywhere around the world there are days, weeks, and celebrations set aside just to help us with our concern for the world around us. If you know of any special events, please inform us, so that we may share them with our visitors! February 1 World Polar Bear Day - February 2 Ground Hog Day - Feb 2 Spay Day USA - promotes spaying or neutering of our pets and feral cats. Held annually near the end of February (U.S. event).
