Make A Mock Bubble Gum Machine
DIY Craft Project From a Recycled Jar
At home or at school this craft is cool!
Make your very own world globe from recycled items.
Recycle Everyday Objects
Great craft for a school lesson plan, girl scouts, boy scouts or home project,
How to Make it:
Tools needed for this globe (above)
- Base (make one from a box or candle type base)
- Clean Recycled Jar
- Bubble Gum
- Your imagination
Directions: We used Elmer's Glitter Glue for this project
- First make a base. In this case we made a wooden base
- Paint the base
- Let it dry!
- When that's dry: add a clean jar (Upside down)
- Fill with Bubble gum
- Done!
Notes:
- We used a canning jar but any clean recycle jar will do.
- Keep the box and jar proportionate
- Make sure the can has NO Sharp edges!
- You can make a lever and a ramp and get more complicated . But for young kids a box and a jar will do.
Options:
- Can't make a wooden base? Use a wooden box or make one from a heavy cardboard box...or legos!
